The System of Customs Authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Regulatory and Legal Framework Governing Their Activities

The article examines the legal framework governing the activities of customs authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the implementation of customs control within the context of integration into the Eurasian Economic Union. The study analyzes key regulatory legal acts, including the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Customs Code of the EAEU, and national legislation regulating the customs sphere. Particular attention is paid to the status and functions of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic as an authorized executive body. The paper outlines the main tasks and areas of activity of customs authorities aimed at ensuring national economic security, facilitating foreign economic activity, and fulfilling international obligations. The functions, rights, and organizational structure of customs authorities are also examined, along with their role in improving the efficiency of customs regulation. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of institutional development of the customs system under conditions of Eurasian integration.
