GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLES

Manuscripts should be submitted to the journal’s email: openjournal.ei@gmail.com

Manuscripts should be submitted in .doc and .docx formats.

The Open Journal of Eurasian Issues publishes scholarly research articles containing the results of original research, conceptual and theoretical analyses, reviews of publications, scientific communications, etc.

The journal publishes only original articles not previously published in other periodicals. The journal publishes articles in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian, and English.

A research article must reflect:

  • the statement of the problem, its relevance, and scientific novelty;
  • an analysis of the problem;
  • the authors' proposals for solving the problem;
  • conclusions and the expected impact.

All articles are subject to mandatory plagiarism checks. The required originality of the article text must be at least 70%. Authors must also submit a scanned copy (in PDF or JPEG format) of the Ethical Disclaimer and a Copyright form signed by the authors.

All authors submitting articles to the Open Journal of Eurasian Issues are expected to accept all obligations set forth in the Publication Ethics Policy of the Open Journal of Eurasian Issues and consent to the editorial review of their material.

Authors of published materials are responsible for the selection and accuracy of facts, quotations, proper names, and other information provided, as well as for the content of data not subject to open publication.

Submitted materials must be formatted in accordance with these requirements. Reviewers' and editors' suggestions must be corrected and resubmitted to the journal’s email within 30 days. If these rules and requirements are not met, the editorial board reserves the right to reject articles without prior review.

The approximate publication period for submitted materials is up to six months from the date of receipt. An article rejected once cannot be resubmitted.

The author is also required to indicate the source of funding for the research.

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

The article must be formatted according to the following structure:

  • UDC;
  • Article title in three languages ​​(Kyrgyz, Russian, and English);
  • Author(s) information in three languages ​​(Kyrgyz, Russian, and English). Required author information: last name, first name, patronymic; academic degree and rank, affiliation and position; telephone number, email;
  • Abstract (100-150 words) written in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian, and English (Includes: relevance of the research topic, problem statement, research objectives, research methods, results, and key findings);
  • Keywords (4-6 words) written in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian, and English;
  • References;
  • The manuscript must be submitted electronically, in Times New Roman font, size 12, line spacing 1.15, paragraph indentation 0.5;
  • Margins: left, right, top, bottom – 2 cm
  • In-text references should be formatted as follows: [5, p. 67], i.e., the source number in the bibliography and the page number within that source must be indicated. If no page number is specified, the reference should be formatted as follows: [5];
  • The total manuscript length, including references, tables, and illustrations, should be at least 7 pages.

All accepted articles undergo blind peer review and are checked for plagiarism; the text must be at least 70% unique. Articles that do not meet the requirements will not be recommended for publication.

The cited literature is listed at the end of the article in the order in which it is cited. The bibliography should include at least 7 sources.

The editors reserve the right to shorten and edit articles.

The publication fee for one article is 2,000 soms for authors from Kyrgyzstan. For foreign authors, the fee is $50. Payment is due after the article has been approved and accepted for publication by the journal's editorial board.

Please send the following to the editorial board:

  • a research article formatted in accordance with the requirements;
  • a copy of the payment receipt (to be deposited with Ilim Bilim Consulting LLC or to the accounting department).

Works previously published in other publications are not permitted.
