THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON THE NEWS PRODUCTION PROCESS

Abstract

This article examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the news production process. In the digital age, AI is widely used at every stage of journalism - from information gathering to fact-checking, editing and delivering to the audience. The authors note that the capabilities of AI are increasing the speed and efficiency of journalism. At the same time, there are ongoing debates about ethical issues, accuracy and the role of human creativity. The article compares global and local experiences and analyzes the positive and negative aspects of the use of AI. As a result, it is shown that the integration of AI in journalism will lead to a revision of professional standards and the development of new methodological approaches.
